Students groups and organizations play an extremely important
role in creating a culture of annual giving and awareness on the University of
Tennessee Health Science Center's campus.
From golf tournament fundraisers to annual giving education,
student leaders from all six of UTHSC's colleges work with fellow
students, alumni, family, and friends to stress the importance of giving
back.

Peri Ankh Student Endowment Fund
The
Peri Ankh Student Endowment Fund is dedicated to raising money in order
to improve technology and medical equipment used for basic science
lectures and during clinical instruction; to endow faculty chairs; to
provide performance incentives for instructors in the basic and clinical
sciences; and to award merit-based tuition scholarships to attract
highly qualified students. This student-led group is an outstanding example of the difference students can make in promoting a culture of philanthropy on and beyond our campus.

Student Government Association
Together the Office of Student Life and the SGAEC provide social and
administrative representation for all students at the University of
Tennessee Health Science Center. Additionally, student leaders play an
