Alumni Affairs

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center Office of Alumni Affairs strives to help alumni maintain a lifelong, informed and meaningful involvement with the University. Alumni are offered opportunities to remain in touch with the University and with each other through Alumni Weekends, Alumni Receptions, and Alumni Board/Council Meetings.

Strong and Active alumni programs serve 32,000 graduates. Approximately 50 programs, reunions and special events are organized annually for the UT Health Science Center graduates. We hope to engage alumni with UTHSC, to reconnect graduates with classmates, and to provide a meaningful way for students to maintain contact with their alma mater for life.

Giving

The Office of Development at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center is pleased to give alumni and friends the opportunity to support teaching, research and public service programs of the Colleges of Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry, Graduate Health Sciences, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy.

Support from alumni, family, and friends provides our students with scholarships, helps us to provide the best possible laboratory equipment and classroom environments possible, and affords our nearly 2,700 students and over 1,200 specialty residents and fellows the opportunity to contribute to the betterment of the world through education, research, clinical care, and public service.

Gifts to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center are made through and payable to the University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. (UTFI), an independent not-for-profit 501c3 that manages all alumni, development, and philanthropic endeavors of the University of Tennessee and its Health Science Center campus.

"The UT College of Pharmacy gave us an excellent pharmacy education, and it has encouraged pharmacists to expand their practice with new clinical services."
