- College of Nursing Mary L. Morris Distinguished Visiting Professor, Alumni Awards Presentation & Reception
featuring nationally known speaker, Dr. Larry Purnell, PhD, RN, FAAN, Professor Emeritus of the University of Delaware & honoring the 2013 College of Nursing Outstanding Alumnus, Patricia D. Cunningham, DNSc, APN PMHNP/CNS-BC, FNP-BC (’01) & Most Supportive Alumnus, Susan R. Jacob, PhD, RN (’93)
- Dinner with Mentors
All
Nursing alumni are invited to attend the wine tasting dinner and will
have the opportunity to host and be paired with a current student for
the dinner only. There will be special recognition of all doctorate
program (DNSc/DNP & PhD) alumni. Come celebrate the wonderful
nursing profession and network with fellow UT alumni and students in
your field.
- College of Nursing Alumni Board of Directors Meeting
Alumni Board of Directors meet and consult with the Dean of the College of Nursing.
- College of Nursing Scholarship Luncheon (by invitation only)
- College of Nursing Open House
All
Nursing alumni, students, parents, & guests are invited to attend.
Desserts will be served and tours will be conducted showcasing the
college’s new & completed space on campus.
The 2013 Nursing Alumni Weekend will be a great way to kick off National Nurses Week!
Attention students: You may receive separate invitations via email to additional Nursing Alumni Weekend events. Please reply to those emails to indicate your attendance.

A special room block has been arranged for UTHSC College of Nursing Alumni from May 1-3, 2013.
Reservation Deadline: 4/12/2013
When making your hotel reservations, ask specifically for the UTHSC College of Nursing alumni room block. Also, be sure to secure your hotel room as soon as possible due to it also being Memphis Beale Street Music Festival Weekend.
Standard Room Rate: $149/night applicable tax
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received on the same day before arrival by 6 p.m. or one night’s room rate and tax will be assessed.
Parking: Valet parking at $22.00 plus tax per day with in/out privileges.
