AACP New Investigator Award

Rebecca Chhim, (PharmD '09) has been selected by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) to receive a 2013 New Investigator Award. She will receive $10,000 support for her research, which involves a dose escalation study assessing the safety of a small dose of ethanol (used for ethanol lock therapy) in neonates and infants with central venous catheters (CVC). In addition to the grant she will receive $1,000 for required travel to present the investigator’s research findings at the AACP Annual Meeting to be held July 26-30.
