Zach Pretzer is Director of Development for the College of Medicine. He joined the Health Science Center's staff in 2010 after a four-year stint as a development officer for Oberlin College. From 2010-2011, he led UTHSC's annual giving efforts as the campus's first-ever Director of Annual Giving. Pretzer's previous experience includes serving as Assistant Athletics Director for Development and Media Relations at Oberlin College and Assistant Athletics Director for Media Relations and NCAA Compliance at Bryn Mawr College.
Pretzer has earned a B.A. from Oberlin College and an M.S. from the
University of Tennessee. He and his wife, Ann, who is also a UT alumna, live in midtown with their daughter Zoe and two beagles, Indy and Murray.
